“Sexy Chains and Bits” Collection:  Chains are all the rage with this twisted opera length triple strand of chains, with an unexpected silver and rhinestone dangling focal piece off to the side.  Wear with anything, anytime!  (July 2010)

Amethyst and Vintage Crystal Quadruple Strand Bracelet:  A very dear friend of mine occasionally shops for antique jewels for me, and recently reported back with a faceted amethyst stone necklace (or heavy amethyst colored crystal) and a violet and bronze/gold hued choker.  The results are pictured above.  (July 2010)

Luxurious Lucite Necklace:  I received a request for sculpted lucite in large, chunky, irregular shapes and after searching for days, I found it!  She will wear this with vintage lucite earrings and a lucite bangle. and it will be fabulous.  (July 2010)

 

Serene Spa Blue Necklace:  Subtle spa blue stones with an unexpected rugged quartz off center focal piece and sparkling magnetic clasp made someone very special quite happy.  You know who you are.  (July 2010)

 

Navy Blue Agate and Gold Foil Choker:  A bold, contemporary, yet feminine and elegant look.  (August 2010)

 

Triple Strand Vintage Amethyst, Green Coin Pearl and Swarovski Crystal Choker:  A good friend of mine told me that green and purple are classic quilt colors.  My favorite hues are plum with green apple, and I threw in a little cognac colored Swarovski crystal for good measure.  (August 2010)

 

Triple Strand Keishi Pearl and Swarovski Crystal Bracelet: As seen on the home page of this website, with a fabulous pair of vintage button clip-ons from the 1950s. I wore this at the Grant Park Music concert when I made the announcement from the stage.  (August 2010)

“Pitch Please” Choker: Aquamarine keishi pearls and sea blue chalcedony on a silver chain with sparkling magnetic clasp. Designed for a very special soprano who was selected to perform in an all-star ensemble at Oak Park River Forest High School. (September 2010)

 

“Pitch Please” Necklace: Silver chainmaille with aquamarine glass pearls. Designed for the young all-star singers of the “Pitch Please” ensemble at OPRFHS. This is the first design on a “Variations on a Theme”. Each girl will have her own individual design, but with the same color scheme, complementing the striking aquamarine blue ties that the guys will be wearing.  (September 2010)

Fab Five Necklaces:  Five Fabulous Friends, each with unique qualities who share a passion for many things in life.  These necklaces honor my friends with honed black jasper as a common component, yet the accent beads were chosen for each individual. (December 2010)

 

Babs:  A great friend and extraordinary cellist had this antique pendant and wanted to update the look.  Pour one part cappucino agate, one part vintage antique silver spacer beads, and one part clasp and you’ve got one amazing new design!  (January 2011)

My husband went to Shanghai and all I got was…well, actually, I received quite a bit. These large aquamarine had my name written all over them, so I knotted them on turquoise silk, added a vintage daisy clasp and I’m set to go.  Thank you to the best husband. Ever. (May 2011)
